Kamchatka - the land of volcanoes

We invite you to experience unforgettable impressions and to enjoy the originality of Kamchatka nature, visiting the places located not far from each other, but absolutely different in landscape, flora and fauna. You will climb three active volcanoes Mutnovsky, Gorely (Burnt) and Awacha located not far from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. You will visit curative mineral hot springs not far from the volcanoes where you are to have a rest. You will cross the Central Range of Kamchatka peninsula by boats. It is planned in our tour excursion around the capital of the peninsula - Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky city, with visiting of a local lore museum and 3 hour you will be floating around Awacha bay by a boat. Besides you have a chance to visit the Valley of Geysers (at desire, for an additional fee). We wish you happy travelling together with us!
All ascensions are not hard even for tourists with poor physical training and for elderly tourists.
| Day 1 | Departure from Moscow to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy by plane. |
| Day 2 | Arrival to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy, Elizovo airport. Transfer to Paratunka base "Antarius" or any other in this area with the same level of service. Accommodation at hotel. Meeting with your guide and interpreter. Briefing about the program. Dinner at hotel. |
| Day 3 | Breakfast at hotel. You will travel to unforgettable place - Mutnovsky volcano which is represented by four merged cones with the
tops destroyed by eruptions of different nature. You drive with the stops for making photos near the foot of Viluchinsky volcano, on the Viluchinsky pass. You drive to the bottom of the Mutnovsky volcano and have a stop near Geothermal Station Mutnovskaya. You will make a walking tour to a small but wonderful couloir where some geothermal activity is observed - Small valley of Geysers. Besides you will see the waterfall (20 m), formed by the thermal river. Return to the hotel. |
| Day 4 | Breakfast at hotel. Day at leisure reserved for swimming in the curable thermal water. In the evening folk cultural program in the national style of Evens. Return to the base hotel. |
| Day 5 | Breakfast at hotel. Departure to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. City tour around Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky with the visit of Pacific Ocean coast and local museum. Accommodation in 3* hotel. |
| Day 6 | Breakfast at hotel. Excursion to the foot of Avachinsky and Koryaksky volcanoes. The trip starts with a drive to the foot of Avachinsky Volcano (2.5 - 3 hours) by off-road car by the Suhaya (Dry) River. There are a lot of ground-squirrels at the base which amuse tourists being very friendly and fearless. After lunch you are offered an acclimatizing walk round Avacha mountain pass. During this walk you climb a hill, called Verblud (Camel). This hill was formed after the eruption of Avachinsky Volcano. As the result of the earth`s crust motion (drift) during the time of volcano activity the hot lava had been flowing out of the huge cleft which later turned to the Verblud Hill. From this hill you can enjoy panoramic view of Avachinsky (2751 m), Koryaksky (3456 m), Zhupanovsky (2300 m), Vilyuchinsky (2175 m) and Dzendzur (2923 m) Volcanoes. Return to the hotel. |
| Day 7 | Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the helicopter airport. Excursion to the Valley of Geysers. We invite you to participate in the helicopter excursion to the famous Valley of Geysers - the pearl of Kamchatka, which is considered to be one of the greatest discoveries of the 20th century. During the flight you will enjoy the beauty and greatness of active and extinct volcanoes, mountain ranges and taiga stretches, rivers and lakes. You will not miss a thing. You will fly (1 hours 15 minutes) to a canyon with unique and fabulous nature attracting tourists and researchers from all over the world. Return to the hotel. |
| Day 8 | Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the berth. It is planed the 5 hours excursion around the famous Avacha bay on a comfortable motor yacht with fishing. Return to the hotel. If desired, you will visit our fish market and souvenir's shop. |
| Day 9 | Breakfast at hotel. Excursion to OZERKI base, swimming in hot curable thermal baths. |
| Day 10 | Breakfast at hotel. Day at leisure. |
| Day 11 | Transfer to airport. Departure flight to Moscow. |

The flight time from Moscow to Petropavlovsk-Kamtchatski
(the administrative center of Kamchatka) is 8,5 hours.
Time difference between Moscow and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski +9 hours.
Tourism season from June to September but winter tours are also available.
An everage temperature in summer is 20 - 25 C.
